On all Emerson / White Rodgers programmable stats there is a way to override the password lockout for the installer settings. All you have to do is hold down the menu button for 20 seconds and it will give you access to all the installer setup features. This can be very helpful if you forget the password or if you are a not the original contractor on the job site.
